Sorry I have not been updating the site very often as of late. My brain is in complete holiday mode. I'm taking off for some sun and sand and probably will not update glossy until 2008. Wishing you all the best for the holiday season.
Royale has created this three minute experimental short for Flaunt Magazine's 9th Anniversary DVD (sponsored by Diesel). View the spot and a bit about the creative concept here. Nice work. Thanks to Alex Gorodetzki at Royal for sending my way.
Wieden+Kennedy London has created a fun festive online Christmas card at wiedenswood.com. I just created the glossytree but am concerned about having to water it everyday as I think I might have forgotten to feed my beta fish today (kidding...well, feeding now).
This is last week's news but I was too busy at Christmas parties to check it out until this AM. As a big fan of the Whopper (one of my dirty little secrets), I love the concept of campaign; no Whoppers for a day. I would have loved to seen this taken nationwide though; with no Whoppers anywhere for a day. Congrats to CBP on a great idea.
I love these Reitman's ads out of Taxi, Toronto. Three of them have been on Canadian television over the past six months; a barbecue scenario, a bus stop and this airport security one. I have never seen these spots posted anywhere online (and believe me, I looked), I'm assuming it's some sort of problem with ACTRA (our SAG) and no internet buy. As bad as the quality of this airport spot is (taped of the TV), I'm posting it. Bon Voyage.
A look at what goes in, what goes out, and how everything we swallow gives the environment a case of indigestion. SuiCycle is a lively, multi-textured animated short created specifically for the 2007 Design Politics exhibition in Santiago, Chile: a forum for “visual ideologies” comprised of the best issue-driven design work from around the globe. Scooped from Computerlove.
Blacklist's Nanospore are back (see Coke spots a few posts below) this time shaking things up with the XMerator for XM Radio. Agency is Lowe, New York. Full credits here.
In a co-production with Psyop, MassMarket utilizes both live action and CG to create these two slick, shiny and festive Infiniti ads. Click here for the full scoop on how they were made. Agency is TBWAChiatDay, Los Angeles. Full credits are posted here.
